J.Crew Arrives at the Oscars In Style

This year's Oscars honored the best-of-the-best in the film industry. Besides the usual star-sightings, several JCAs noticed a very special attendee... J.Crew!

"Thanks!" to HDNB (of Hotdish & Bars) who let us know that there is a post on Racked (click here) about Geoffrey Fletcher wearing J.Crew's Ludlow Two-Button Tuxedo Suit. HDNB also shared coverage from The Choosy Beggar (click here) which had the following to say:

We had no plans to cover the Academy Awards, really, but it's worth noting that Geoffrey Fletcher accepted the Oscar for best adapted screenplay -- and then made the best speech of the night -- in a $500 "Ludlow" Tux from J. Crew. (See the Ludlow in action here.) This is the menswear equivalent of Michelle Obama wearing Crew on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno." Also, readers regularly inquire about stylish and affordable formal attire. Take a cue from this Crew coup.

Actresses Olivia Munn and Eva Amurri were both spotted wearing J.Crew C0llection dresses. To see more photos, check out the post over at Just Jared (click here). Eva Amurri is wearing the Delphinia Gown (Item 24380; $350.00) in Pale Oak, while Olivia Munn is in the Streamer Gown (Item 20047; $1,800.00). The Streamer Gown only comes in Ivory, yet she is wearing a grey version. Maybe J.Crew will be offering the dress in more colors?
