"Thanks!" to many of you, including Marietta, who shared the latest email J.Crew sent today.The email features the Brodie Leather Ankle Boots (Item 24912; $325.00) which is described as:
A fresh take on the classic monk-strap shoe, with perforated detailing borrowed from the boys (our designers were inspired by a pair of traditional men's wing tips) and a stacked heel in our favorite new shape—this is the pair that's completely cool and stylishly sophisticated. Add in the fact that we gave it a hidden platform, it's incredibly comfortable too (it's the one you'll wear 24/7).Those ankle boots are adorable– I really like the perforated detailing & straps. Although the shoe has a pretty high 3 5/8" stacked heel, there is at least a a 3/8" hidden platform– making it slightly more comfortable to walk around in. As for the $325 price tag... wow!
